Terms and Conditions – Bitstarz Casino

Bitstarz Casino is operated by Gareton B.V., a company registered in Curaçao under registration number 160656. Its registered office is located at Landhuis Zuikertuin at Zuikertuintjeweg z/n, Willemstad, Curaçao. The casino is licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence number OGL/2024/165/0185. The official Terms and Conditions are effective from June 25th, 2025.

General Rules for New Zealand Players

These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between the player and Bitstarz Casino. By opening an account or using the website, the player confirms that they have read and accepted the rules published by the casino.

New Zealand players should understand that Bitstarz Casino is an offshore online casino. It is not licensed or regulated by the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs. Online gambling in New Zealand is linked to the Gambling Act 2003 framework and the changing local online casino rules, so players remain responsible for checking whether they can legally use the site.

Registration and Account Use

Players must be at least 18 years old, or older if a higher legal age applies in their country. They must also be legally allowed to play online casino games under the laws that apply to them.

Bitstarz allows only one account per player, household, IP address and device. Duplicate accounts may be blocked or closed, and related deposits, winnings or bonuses may be forfeited. Players must enter true, complete and correct registration details, including a valid email address. The casino may ask for proof of age and may suspend access if the player cannot confirm eligibility.

Login details must be kept private. Bitstarz states that it is not responsible if an account is misused because the player shared their username, password or other access details.

Bonuses, Wagering and Restrictions

Bitstarz bonuses are subject to separate Bonus Terms and Conditions. Most bonuses must be wagered 40 times before the funds can be withdrawn, unless a specific promotion states otherwise. Free spin winnings also usually carry a 40x wagering requirement.

While a bonus is active, the maximum allowed bet is 5 EUR/USD/CAD/AUD/NZD/USDT, or the listed crypto equivalent. This rule also applies to double-up wagers and bonus-buy features. If a player cancels a bonus before completing wagering, the bonus amount and related winnings are forfeited.

Some games do not contribute fully to wagering. Table games, live games, instant-win games, lotteries and bingo typically contribute 5%, while some jackpot or special-mechanic games may be excluded.

Deposits, Withdrawals and KYC

Deposits must be made from the player’s own payment method or wallet. Third-party payment methods are not allowed. If Bitstarz finds that a player used someone else’s payment account, winnings may be confiscated and the original deposit may be returned to the payment owner.

Bitstarz may apply KYC checks to confirm identity, payment ownership and address. Documents can include a passport, ID card, driver licence, proof of payment and proof of address no older than 90 days.

The casino says it tries to process withdrawals within one hour, but some payments may take longer. Withdrawals normally have to be made to the same method used for the deposit.

Responsible Gaming and Account Closure

Bitstarz states that gambling should be used for entertainment only. Players can close their account by contacting customer support. For self-exclusion, players can contact support at [email protected].

New Zealand players who need gambling help can contact Problem Gambling Foundation NZ at www.pgf.nz or call the national Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655.

Changes to the Terms

Bitstarz reserves the right to change its Terms and Conditions. Players may be notified within a reasonable time and may need to accept the updated rules. If a player does not consent to the updated terms, the outstanding real-money balance should be returned according to the casino’s rules.

The English version of the Terms and Conditions prevails over translations in case of dispute.
